The Airdrie Page

Just back from having a great meal in the Moorings Hotel, Motherwell. It didn’t start too well though, as the waitress spilled a drink over my wife before we had even ordered. Thankfully things improved from there and the meal and atmosphere was great. We haven’t been there for a while and I thought previously it had turned into a typical “pub grub” type place but the menu was really good and the food was excellent. So if you’re in the area, give it a try. The prices were reasonable and the service very quick.

It probably will be added to our favourites list.

Came across several sites which provide lot’s of info and views on Scotland. They include a site on “the Barra’s”, Sir Harry Lauder, the fantastic Glasgow Apollo (where I spent many a good night soaking up the atmosphere) and others.
