The Airdrie Page

Sorry to any visitor who may have stumbled onto the site over the last few days and found a strange front page with Arabic writing. Yes – some dolt decided to hack the site and cause no end of hassle. The site is now up again and I am keeping the Guest Book out of bounds (as this was the way in for the hacker) until I resolve the issue. Otherwise it’s business as normal.

A new feature I’ve made available on the site is a simple Chat facility. This can be found on the Sidebar but is only visible to Registered Users (so get registered!). This will allow members to instant message with each other online and adds another interactive feature to the site. Any problems using it – let me know by using the Contact Form.

Note: If you find that the details have disappeared after a while, then just refresh the page and hopefully they should return (this happened to me).

We have introduced a new section which will allow registered members to add their thoughts on where they live or have lived. Now is your chance to comment on issues which affect you area and brag about it or raise your concerns.
